Description
Chive Seeds
This chive is a standard variety found in most gardens. It’s an easy-to-grow perennial herb. Both the chive stalks and blossoms are edible and go great in salads.
How to Grow Chives
Chives are perennial and hardy in zones 3 to 9. The seeds are easy to grow. After the risk of the last frost has passed, you can directly sow the seeds in the spring, late summer, to early fall. The plants prefer full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Sow the seeds 1/4 inch deep and 4-6 inches apart.
