Chive seeds (Allium schoenoprasum). These are the common chive variety. The pretty purple chive blossoms are also edible and go great in salads.
How to Grow Chives
Chives are perennial and hardy in zones 3 to 9. The seeds are very easy to grow. After the risk of the last frost has passed you can directly sow the seeds in the spring, late summer to early fall. The plants prefer full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Sow the seeds 1/4 inch deep and 4-6 inches apart.
