Florence Fennel Seeds
Florence fennel has a delicate anise flavour. It’s grown for its bulbs, which can be eaten raw, finely sliced and added to salads, stir-fry, chopped and added to soups and stews.
How to Grow Florence Fennel
Prefers full sun and well-draining, rich soil with a pH of 5.5-7. Fennel can be started indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. For outdoors, sow seeds after the last frost. Sow the seeds 1/4″ deep and spaced 9″ to 12″ apart. Plants will mature in 60-90 days.
