How to Grow Watermelon
Watermelon seeds are easy to germinate. The vine is native to Africa and Asia and requires warm sunny weather to thrive. Choose a sunny location with rich, well-draining soil. If starting the seeds outdoors, sow the seeds at least 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. If starting the seeds indoors, you can sow the seeds 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost. Seedlings 3 weeks after the last frost.
