Welsh onion is a perennial green onion. It’s hardy in zones 3 to 9. The seeds are easy to grow. After the risk of the last frost has passed you can directly sow the seeds. The plants prefer full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Sow the seeds 1/4 inch deep and 8-12 inches apart.
