Valerian Root Uses
Valerian root relaxed the central nervous system. It is often used to help treat anxiety, depression, panic attacks, irritability, and as a stress reliever. It’s also an effective digestive aid.
A tea can be made with the dried roots of Valerian. To prepare the tea add about a teaspoon of dried roots in a cup, add boiled water, and steep the tea for at least 10 minutes. The longer you steep the tea the stronger the effect will be.
