How to Sprout Mung Beans
To start, soak the beans in cool water for 8-12 hours. Be sure to stir the beans thoroughly to ensure all are equally wet. After the 8-12 hours, rinse the beans and drain the water. Replace the water 2-3 times a day. Mung bean sprouts do not require any sunlight. The sprouts will be ready in 2-5 days. After harvesting, refrigerate any extra sprouts to keep them fresh.
