German chamomile a reseeding annual. It is a prolific producer of beautiful white flowers that grow 1 to 2 feet tall.
How to Germinate Chamomile Seeds
Chamomile prefers full sun and well-draining soil of poor to average quality. Lightly cover seeds with soil and spaced 8″ apart. Keep soil moist, and do not allow it to dry out. The optimal germination temperature of chamomile seeds is around 19 C.
If sowing directly outdoors, soak the earth, press the seeds into the soil and then lightly cover them. Prefers full sun.
Germination may take anywhere between 1-2 weeks.
