Description
Echinacea Seeds
Echinacea is a perennial flower that can reach up to 4 feet in height. The beautiful flowers start to bloom in July through to September.
How to Grow Echinacea
The optimal temperate for germination is 20 to 24 C. The seeds can be sown in late fall or early spring. If sown in the late fall, the cold temperatures over the winter will increase the germination rate.
Sunlight stimulates germination, so the seeds should only have a light covering of soil. Space the plants 18″ apart. Germination is irregular and may take anywhere from 10-30 days.
