How to Grow Kale

Kale should be started in a location with full sun. It prefers rich, loose, moist, and well-drained soil. When sowing the seeds, space them 4 inches apart and in rows 12 inches apart. Press the seeds into the soil and lightly cover them with compost. Plant 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost. Water the plants well each week. Blue Curled Scotch Kale will mature in 50-80 days.
