Anise Hyssop Seeds

Anise hyssop produces beautiful spikes of purple flowers. The nectar is excellent at attracting bees and other pollinators. Leaves are naturally sweet with an anise flavour and aroma; it makes an excellent tea!

How to Grow Hyssop

Anise hyssop is hardy in zones 4-9. Prefers a sunny location with well-draining, moist soil with a pH of 6 to 7. If starting indoors, sow seeds 1/4″ deep and place in a sunny location. Start seeds 6-10 weeks before the last frost. For outdoors, directly sow seeds after the last frost, 1/4″ deep, spaced 6-12″ apart. Keep seeds moist, and do not allow them to dry out.
