Morning Glory Flowers

Heavenly Blue Morning Glory Flowers

Morning glory flowers are relatively easy to grow. The hardest part for people is usually starting them from seed, but as long as you soak the seeds for 24-48 hours before you sow them, they should sprout. The other thing is that you will need to keep them moist; this will help soften the thick outer shell. Another option is to scratch and nick each seed, but I find soaking the seeds works best. Once your seeds have started to germinate, they will grow quite fast.

Heavenly blue morning glories look great at any angle. Each vine will produce many flowers. Some morning glory varieties will spread like weeds if you live in climate though the seeds don’t survive the winter. So you will have to plant them each year, but at least it is easy to control where you want them. They are easy to care for and don’t need to be watered constantly. Some have said if you give the plants too much water, they may delay in producing flowers, or you may not get as many. As for me, I just made sure I gave them one proper watering at least once a week and mine produced a lot of flowers.
